Finally got wap54g f/w upgraded. Now I can get the wre54g hooked up for karen so she has a stronger signal in the sunroom. I should now be able to do a system link w/ the 2 xboxes so kyle and I can play halo.

Maps are better, more detail. I think the alleyway one (forgot name) with the shadows and brickwork. The whole look and feel is beautiful and not just because I kicked butt on the thing. Score 9
Game play is virtually the same. However, the sensativity default settings seem reversed. I started out at 3 and need to make some adjustments because movement is choppy at times. Leaning bug is fixed of course.... Sudden death is a nice touch. Score 8
Sound. Louder & clearer. The environment sounds are minimal and not really important in gameplay but the annoucements in some of the maps are cool. I heard more than once that the 5.1 sound effects makes you think someone is in the room w/ you. New female voice to make in game annoucments is not as crip or smooth as orginal. I like the first one better. I look forward to being able to crank up the sound to see if th emeny's movements make enough noise. Score 8.5
New Gameplay: Capture Canister/ Retrieval has the intensity of the first Alien movie mixed with the action of the next 2. No time for snacks or beer. The only minus I see is that the matches tend to be long so if you come into one in progress it might take more than 8 minutes (with sudden death) to get in. Score 9.5
Was it worth the upgrade? Yes. The clan functions, maps, bug fix seem to warrant it. I'm not bothering totaling up my score since it doesn't contain all aspects of a review nor am I finished but it does make it look more offical.
