Right now I'm getting to a point where I just need to get up. I'm listening to a group yentas blah blah blahing 10 feet behind me, a lady conversing in an unknown asian language on the other side of my cube and some jackass playing some internet radio two cubes down. I have to crank my ipod to mind numbing levels in order to block everyone else out.
kyle starts school next week and he doesn't have a clue. He's not even thinking of school so I guess he's in for a rude awakening and Karen and I are in for moodiness.
This holiday weekend my John, Kristi, Jake are coming up to the mountains. We should get some good fishing in assuming the weather 'forecasters' are right. I'll have to pick up some cigars for John and I. The girls and Jake can go to the pool. I'm not sure what Kyle will do, fish or pool?
It felt like xmas. Karen's desktop which has been suffering from windowitus which symptoms include a corrupted windows installer, a screwed up windows firewall which didn't allow me to adjust the settings thereby unable to connect to another local pc. the PC is now functioning correctly. Since MS decided to update the windows update I was able to download the update, the authorizers and all the patches. I was finally able to disable windows firewall and allow norton's to watch over and connect to other pcs on my network. : ) Now that is done, I have copied everything off of the old external hd and will back it all up to DVDs. Then I can look for a new 2nd external HD for my usb enclosure.
