Lotus Notes r7

I went to a User Group meeting last night on r7. I was impressed and depressed at the same time. No chance that my current employeer will be going to r7 in the near future but what perked my ears up was that they are working on a Linux client and dev client. It sounds like the precursor to the r8 eclipse platform that will truely make the client platform independant.
