I missed the weekly meeting so I pull up the minutes this morning. My two co-workers who sit right next to me are both out because they are at LotusSphere in Orlando,Fl. WTF?!? I hadn't heard one word about the possibility of going from them or from the manager. I would even understand if it was possibility and they were picked because they had more work. But nothing, not a #$%^ing word. #$%^them. I'm taking the new #$%^ing job and I'm not leaving any info on any applications I did not that there is much. Not even having the decency of mentioning it to me blows me away. I came to them with info and shared stuff with what I was doing. The developer who is even more paranoid than I am but in such a way that it hurts everyone. He won't share anything, lies to the manager about his progress and abilities. Screw him, his 4 year old security app is not gonna work and be flushed down the toilet although in govt it might mean it lays around stinking for years first. He's got his head so far up the managers ass that I can't tell where he ends and she begins. It's all his doing. He knows how to play this politcal bull shit. I have a one on one meeting today with our PM from my consultant company. I'm not sure I'll bring this up since I don't know why our group is getting these one on ones but he'll know something is up.
