Charles Duelfer, the lead U.S. inspector who announced the negative WMD findings two years ago, has watched uncertainly as TV sound bites, bloggers and politicians try to chip away at "the best factual account," his group's densely detailed, 1,000-page final report.

For some reason, certain news establishments and politcal parties are still equating with being in Iraq = protecting America. Out of all of the Axis of evil countries mentioned by the Prez, Iraq was the least of our worries. Now, it's on the top of the list. It seems like the longer we are there the worse it gets. Should we get out, yes but only when we have settled the area as best as we can. Which by all accounts won't be for years. Meanwhile, Iran and North Korea go absoultely ape shit crazy with missles and nuke preliferation. The terrorists love stirring the pot with violence, they believe that they can get more support through our show of aggression in the Middle East. That's what floors me about the political crap being thrown in each other's direction. Equating the Left wing = supporting terrorists has got to be the lamest bullshit I've encountered.
