adult gamers

Went to Moes to pick up lunch and ran into a few woman from my dept. One of whom I nod at but don't work w/ directly noticed my halo 2 lanyard. I've been wearing it for a while now but she never noticed. She asked where I got it and became excited that I had one. I asked how she knew of Halo and said her husband was a big fan and even bought most of the action figures. She didn't say it with contempt but just a slight amusement. So I told her to check out bungie.net who had t-shirts and other things. She thanked me and said she was going to check it out for xmas for her husband. I guess I am self-conscience and think that the majority of people still consider gaming for kids even though numbers show it isn't just kids who enjoy playing games. I have been looking for a new lanyard too but haven't found a good one yet.
