Halo 2 Mom?
Just got back from Moe's Southwest grill©. I am filling my belly full of burrito goodness now but have to jot down a little story. I'm standing across from the guy who is making my burrito making sure he uses black beans and chicken when he looks up and says, 'Halo 2?' Huh? is my brain's response but my mouth translated, 'excuse me?' Then I realized I have my Halo 2 lanyard holding my work ids. The girl next to my burrito maker says 'My Mom loves Halo 2, that's all she does and play Halo 2 all day.' My brain blinks on and off. I gauge this girl must be out of high school in order to work at Moe's at noon but only just. She's short, freckled and mounted with large braces. I would have placed her as a sophomore possibly a freshman in high school not someone who graduated. My mind is trying to do age calculations of how old her mom is vs how old I am and the approximate weight of the burrito that the first guy is making. I could only come out with, 'Wish I had the time to play Halo 2 all day'. Apparently the girl isn't driving because her mom picks her up and only talks about the games she played that day. I play games and pass superficially for an adult but I don't play them all day. Anyway that is my game connection today and I'm still trying to determine if it was cool or just creepy.
