A few months ago my wife's mac book pro wasn't sitting properly on the table because the battery bulged out. Then the battery discharged suddenly. So we bought a new battery and left the old on on her desk. Take a look at it now. I have batteries from many other manufactures and none of them ever did this. Nothing was done to pry this thing apart either. The battery appears to have held a 3/4 charge too. I'm going to loo into finding a way of discharging it safely and disposing of the battery.
