According to their income statements, drug makers generally spend twice as much to market drugs as they do to research them.I can't believe that is true at all times. This article centers around reports in Vermont. There are plenty of drugs that don't make it to market but I'd like to see some clarification of numbers. If it costs 5 million to research and test a drug, are the drug companies really spending 10 million to market it?
My thoughts for me, no comments or opinions other than mine. This is not a social site.

Drug Companies
I worked for one indirectly and felt a little sympathy for them because of all the money it took to research and develop drugs. However after reading a NYT article my opinion was a bit derailed. The article is about the money large drug companies spend on psychiatrists in terms of gifts to promote their meds. The article goes on to say that it's no an inclusive number because it leaves out the company reps salaries and other items that should be included. This statement stopped me in my tracks...
