Kyle was sick last night, in our bed so we had to clean and shift sleeping quarters. I ended up taking the day off to make sure he was ok and Karen didn't do the same thing.


Laptop update
I reloaded XP in a different directory but basically the system file plus other unknown important boot files were corrupted and most likely missing since I ran chkdsk. I couldn't repair and the only version of XP I had only did fresh installs. I'm gonna get a new laptop for Karen anyway since she has been complaining about the one she's on. Touchpad is not working plus the pcmcia slot is a little quirky. I'm thinking of a Toshiba since I'm staying away from Dell. I'll wipe her old laptop and convert it to Linux to play with. My laptop won't boot unless power is applied which I was told was a power monitor(?) on the MB. $700 from Dell or $500 from oem for a new one.

On top of all that, TurboTax 2002 only allows you to load on one pc but we are missing the damn install code so I would actually have to pay again just to print the damn thing out. I had to dig the old 300mhz monster out and hook that up to print out the taxes that were on it. The powersupply fan is dead and the heat builds up after a while. It was a fun day.
