Storage Score

I have been looking for a storage solution so I can off load some data and files off my desktop and laptops. I have an extra external drive already that is pretty full. networked solutions were perfect but expensive. I had been looking at another USB hardrive enclosure but 300MB hd's were 220 + 50 for the enclosure was a little more than I wanted to spend. A 160GB external drive was $180. Today I checked out Best Buy and found a Seagate 300gb external drive(usb 2.0/Firewire) for $289 shrugging I picked it up to take a look at the specs and found an ad price flyer underneath claiming the correct amount of rebates and instore rebates. It added up to $100 off! There were no other sales flyers or price tags. I asked an associate and he said that it was accurate. So after unsuccesfully finding a Sony or SANS 1gig duo stick. When they scanned the drive in at the counter nothing showed up - no rebates. After 2 managers were found it was decided to just take $100 off the drive. :) I got the 300gb for the price of a 160 gig!
