Another record profit in the Oil industry company

Something like a 2+ billion dollar increase from last year. Fine, companies are supposed to make a profit, they have to in order to survive but the do they deserve the HUGE tax benefits as well? The tax breaks are to help them with research. How about scaling the tax breaks back now they are literally sucking the cash from all american's pockets? Nope, the Prez doesn't go for that. No big surprise. He is mouthing the oil lobbyiest BS that the oil industry needs that extra billions of dollars to

build more natural gas pipelines, expand refineries, explore "in environmentally friendly ways," and invest in renewable sources of energy.

At the end of the statement written by someone else and spoken by the president, that last part is so tacked on it's funny. Do we trust the oil industry to find renewable source of energy thereby putting them out of business or at least taking from their profits.

Take some of the TAX breaks off and put that money towards Hyrdogen research or give it to someone who really wants to lower our dependancy on oil. This administration and the oil industry are in a very noticable 69 position that someone should throw cold water on. It's getting embarrassing.
