Someone broke into our pocono home and took my xbox, controllers, Halo 2 game and the wireless access point. That's it. The door is f'd up but we should be able to get a safer setup with a door-jam kit that basically reinforces the door in key points. We are also checking out security systems. Although the asshats who broke in didn't notice the security sticker right on the door. It was from the previous owner's. They left the TVs, receiver, VHS/DVD player and my tackle box. Which they may have been rushed but still they unpluged the cables for the xbox too which leads me to believe they are poor bored trash and kids. At least the police officer who along with his partner went through the house guns drawn after karen thought she heard someone in the house(their wasn't). Still I cut out of work early to see how bad the damage was and to feel like I was doing something. By the time I got up there, Karen cleaned up most everything. On Saturday we went to walmart and the hardware store to pick up the doorjam kit. We were gonna buy a new door but the installation was 3 weeks out! So we are making do w/ the doorjam kit. At walmart I happened upon a deal for my new camera which is the low end EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III zoom lens. Normally 180-200 was on clearance for $160. So I know it's not the best or even a medium lens but I figured I could use this lens for learning. It needs a tri-pod when zoomed in but I managed to get a couple of nice shots of a Flying Squirrel at night using the deck railing to steady my shaky hand.
This was cropped a bit:

I also got a couple of good photos of Kyle at night using the light from a couple of sparklers.
